Meaghan Casey is a singer-songwriter based outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Wielding a guitar and various banjos, she blends influences from Traditional Folk, Americana, Punk and Country roots. 2018 brought her “Migration” the demo EP and her first tour from Vermont down to Asheville, North Carolina. She is continuing to gig all over New England in 2019 and also plays with her Americana band “Fist City”.

She is currently booking “for the rest of her life”.

“Her vocals reminded me of Neko Case’s. There is that quiet prettiness that is always threatening to break out, looming there in every word, however that power stretches out and is felt, never forgotten, just because it doesn’t come out.  (…) again it is Casey’s vocals here which come through most of all, this sweet mixture of twang and birdsong that is so natural, although that may not get to the point of it. She does not reach for anything she can’t grasp vocally, she doesn’t try to change herself into something she’s not in order to sound a certain way, something which I found rather refreshing, as I often find this to be the case with so many vocalists who have yet to shed their influences and become themselves.” - Divide and Conquer, 8/8/2018
